I have a couple of desktop PC's which I image using Seagate DiscWizard (see my other post).
I avoid laptops, as they are ornery little critters.
However I have friends that have laptops. But I have hesitated getting them on to the same regime as me.
Are there extra considerations with laptops, with laptops having their hidden recovery partitions, etc ?
No doubt a 'bare metal' image (sector by sector) would do the job, but they take up far too much space.
If one did the 'less space using' equivalent, where the DiscWizard finds all the partitions, and the mbr, does that work ok with a laptop ?
