You need to user AD Users and Computers console and the Exchange 2003 Management tools installed (from the Exch 2003 CD).

For SMTP, POP3 and IMAP, login to the server and start the Exchange POP3 and IMAP services (disabled by default) in Services.msc.

Ideally, create some DNS CNAME records for generic names for IMAP, POP3, SMTP e.g.

POP3.company.com CNAME server.company.com
SMTP.company.com CNAME server.company.com
IMAP.company.com CNAME server.company.com

Then the clients can be setup with the above dns names.

i have just installed Exchange Server 2003, please help me to set up 2003 user accounts (mail) and port setup for incoming and outgoing mail, smtp and pop, so that i can setup my client outlook machines to be recieving mail.
