Report Offensive Message

Based on symptoms, the most visible part was a Google Redirect Virus variant but not detectable by anything recognizing past redirect virus mutations.

Went through five liveCD scanners including Avast and Fsecure latest.
Went through the list of valid online scanners.
The specific tools for TDSS and such.
"Cloud" AVs and even sending questionable files to Virustotal and such.

0 malware found. Something was definitely in the machine though; nuke and pave.. no more search results being redirected. Grrr.. Hopefully whatever it was relies on a vuln patched in last Tuesday's list.
