Some clients won't just understand no matter how you put it to them and sometimes they are the ones that pay high, wont it be risky to go blackout on them.
I am already preparing for my vacations already, planning to go to cinemas and relax, then small tourism.
There's always another client.
Many are wonderful to work with.

There are times when high pay is simply a means of manipulation. They might not be able to retain people at industry rates. happy

If you prefer high paying servitude, that's your choice.

If you prefer the freedom to take a professional vacation, with professional planning and professional communication with your clients, that's your choice as well.

Either they will respect you and your abilities, or they'll use you until you're burnt out. This too is your choice.

If they're a professional company, they'll completely understand.

If not, sooner or later, they'll toss you anyway and find another consultant.

That's their loss.
