Not only is the iPhone the best smartphone on the list, it also has the smartest user base. I did a small sampling of extended family, there families and even some of my clients.This is what I found. iPhone user's had more useful apps and used most on the functions of the phone. Mail, Photos, cameras, Video, Video editing, interfacing with their Mac's (some PC's) large database of contacts and backup of the iPhone. Most (about 95%) of the Other smartphone users did't have a clue on how to do anything with there smartphone. A little games, some contact list and maybe a free app or two. They just used them for taking photos and Messaging. Backup. Forget it. Not one of them had any real idea about backup.
