Have you been to the topics recently? Do you have some photos you'd like to share - I'll add them to this gallery and we can virtually bask in the warm sun.
I was in Bora Bora in 1979 and that is the only place where the world does stand still...
Why depress people now that we have good weather. Wait till summer gets here and show people that it could be worse.
What!? Where is Four Mile beach, Port Douglas, and Cable Beach, Broome both in Australia. See some images on http://www.murranji.com.au
BTW, Monaco and Newport Beach Sydney aren't tropical

I went to the Murranji Gallery web site. Beautiful.
It'd be nice to have the panoramic of Mango Sunset made into a cubicle skin.
Spent parts of 3 years in Key West while in the Navy and often hear this song in my head....

And watch the sun go down
Hear the sea roll in
But I'll be thinking of you
And how it might have been
Hear the night birds cry
Watch the sunset die
Well I hope you understand
I just had to go back to the island

One of my most favorite Leon Russell songs. Suits these images well - especially the first two and the Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Florida one.
Gorgeous. All we can do is dream......ahhhhh
I can take better pics than the Cat Island series. When did you ever stand on a beach like that and see a crooked horizon? Did anyone review these?

... and I'll publish them. I am restricted to public domain images and images I get permission for - that limits what I can do.
Thanks... I live in Wisconsin, need I say more?
Like very much, just wish I could be there now. Thanks

I was there in 1985 (submarine ported at Pearl Harbor). It looks like Hanauma Bay, but that was soooo long ago. Uh, I barely remember making it back to the ship that night, because of some detours to the Crow's Nest and Moose McGillicuddy's. Cheers, and Hang loose, Brah!
Was the Blue Kangaroo still playing at the Crow's Nest? I was stationed at Schofield Barracks a few years prior to your visit.
Nice pictures. However, totally unsuitable for wallpaper on any screen larger then, say, 10 inches. Completely out of focus on a normal desktop screen (resolution issues).

Reminds me of life in the Bahamas. I walk outside and see that view everyday.

Wish I was at someplace like now. Hate the weather where I am right now

Winter?
RedTalon 5th Dec
Nice pics! I dread the thought of what the weather will be like when winter actually begins on Dec 21.
No need to worry about winter this year. The world will end on Dec 21 -- at least according to the Mayan calendar.
