Or including one into my current music player I built a long time ago.
Either way, the basic problem I always have with drag and drop is the fact that many of the MP3 players would prefer to use the ID3 tags rather than the folder structure to group them. So I want to make a program that takes a folder structure, and auto sets the tags.
So, like the root folder name will be assigned the artist name to every tag, and the second folder will be assigned the album name, the File name will be assigned to the Song name only if it is currently empty (Recorded MP3's rather than ripped).
I don't think it would take me that long to build, just haven't had the motivation as I haven't been traveling anymore. But lately I have been using my cell phone (BB Pearl) to play music as my car stereo, and its media manager is pretty junky.
I was thinking for a basic interface, I would make it so if you right click a folder, you can send it to the program (send to menu or through registry change) and it would ask which folder to send it to, once you tell it where to go, it will index all the files in that folder you first right clicked on, copy them to the device, then change their tags.
