Hmm.. adminisrator-less systems..no default password..
Time was that one of the first things windows asked for after the install was the windows key, username and password for the admin account, then the recommendation to set a user account with less privileges, and a different password for that account, and to use admin only when servicing the system. I don't see the benefit to the hidden and unused admin account, and not being asked for a admin password after purchase sounds dangerous if the system is stolen, unless Microsoft starts monitoring and is able to track stolen processor I.D's. I have personally had user accounts crash, and only by deleting the user account from the admin account was I able to recover, but lost the user files and related documents. The result of no admin may be great for the service dept at Best Buy, but what could telephone support do with only one non-admin user who can't log on at the log in screen??
