In the next few days EA Games will be releasing Dead Space 2. It continues the story from where the first one left off. So for those that have not played Dead Space, go grab a copy from your local store and get up to speed on one of the creepiest games ever to be released. I'm very excited about this one. Even as an adult this game scares me.
Later this year Xbox 360 will be getting the third saga to their famous title, Gears of War. Gears of War 3, from the demo at E3, looks quite promising. It's just unfortunate that this is only available for Xbox 360.

I have a serious addiction to gaming. Lately I have bought so many big name games on steam. http://store.steampowered.com/ It is a site that you can buy games that you connect to. I must have bought over 30+ games in the last few months for under $200. Granted it was end of year sale but you can find many daily deals. Normally I wouldnt pimp someone's site but if you want to get games on the cheap for your pc you should check it out.
That said I cant wait for Portal 2. I am almost finished the 20 starter levels for it and I am so addicted. It is fun, silly, and dare I say it cute. If you like figuring out traps etc you will love this game. The PSAs in the game are hilarious. I didnt score Dragon Age so I can only imagine. My buddy said it was the best game he has played. I have Dead Space but I havent even fired that puppy yet. Like I said I have a rediculios amount of games to play and so little time. Maybe one day I will see the sun again, lol.

I'm a big fan of the original Dead Space, so I requested a copy of Dead Space 2 to review for TechRepublic. I'll post a link once it's on the site! Did you know that they have an animated film "Dead Space 2" as well? They sent me a copy, so I'll include that in my review as well.
Cool, I did not know they had a new Dead Space animated film coming out, thanks for sharing! I will look out for your review/link on TechRepublic. The first animated film was great so I don't expect anything less from this one.

PS3 is a game platform in its third version by Sony corp. which generally connects to televisions for game play experience, see not so esoteric, not unlike other platforms which require specific peripheral equipment attached and software specifically made for each type such as Microsoft's "Xbox"

And 3D already implimented. Im really looking forward to resistance in 3D. And although I used to agree with the dumbed down, graphically inferior comment, try playing GOW3 on hard on a PC that is 5 years old =D
If it is realeased in 2011, I'll be buying it immediately. I love this series of games.
Skyrim, for sure. Anyone who plays Oblivion or Morrowind will not want to miss out on Bethesda's release on 11/11.
Crysis 2 is the only game I know that I'll be buying this year. Crysis is by far my favorite game, although the sequel does not seem to follow where the first left off... At least from what I've seen
Yes well, it is a complicated story line. The nano suit is more advanced so it is like in the future or more like 2 or 5 years after the Alien discovery in Crysis.

Both games will be a great hit. I can't wait for both of them. Blizzard is known for updating their contents regularly. Tera is about to change how we play MMORPG, so far i only read positive reviews about how Tera will murder FFXIV and Aion.
The free style approach to wandering around the wasteland and solving puzzles in the Fallout series makes them interesting to me. Most games are just repeating endless slightly changed repetitive levels at a faster rate. They just make me want to write some code that will play the stupid repetive game so I can go off and do something more interesting...

That's what they call it, because that's how long we'll wait. I agree, though, and would put this on my own list if I shared your optimism! I would probably go for the Xbox Console version and not PC, unless the full range of commands end up being problematic w/o a full keyboard.

I wonder what Call of Duty will be released that day? "CoD9: Yet more WWII stuff"? "Modern Warfare 3: Antarctica"? "CoD: King of the Hill"?

I for one will be looking forward to the next battlefield game! They make FPS way better than anyone else!
