Apple groupies are blind
I went to a Mac user group meeting last night [I use Macs in my business]. Two members who have iPads were SHOCKED!! SHOCKED!! that I don't have an iPad [yet]. When I said that I don't like the iPad--it's just a big iPod Touch--they were so defensive, saying that it's different, blah, blah, blah. They're also horrified when I show them the old iPhone with the cracked glass that I use for an iPod, because I use a Nokia smart phone as my real phone [it's better than an iPhone]. I won a Kindle last week, and will get a free Nook in a few weeks. I don't know if they will be useful, but so far, I like the size and weight better than an iPad--and they can be hacked easily, at least the Nook can, and it has a microSD slot. I want a Toshiba Libretto, if budget allows, otherwise, the new Nokia N9, or something good that fits in my pocket.
The Apple fan boiz who are so attached to their iPads have never used anything else, so why listen to them for a comparative analysis of any tablet, including theirs.
