Caged by applications
No matter how flashy and cute the new apps look, there's always 'something' that's missing. Something isn't quite right. And it's off to the next app to see if THAT one has all the features I want. Unfortunately, I have never found an application that actually does what I envision.
Here's what I'm focused on today. I want a simple, easy to use calendar. This should be touch-screen active. It should have a tap to enter a new event, with a menu to stretch the event over time. The user should be able to simply long-tap to stretch by dragging. This should highlight the selected time-frame.
Menu items include view of day, week, month, sync with other calendar apps such as MS Office, Outlook, Google, etc.
Is this too much to ask? Anyone want to take this on? : )
