Agile Works - But With Caution
Doing a project in an agile way works, but the problem is (as some have said here) you have to be careful you are not putting in a waterfall list of tasks and doing them on a sprint by sprint basis - that is not agile. Agile requires a great product owner to understand the impact of change, and a scrum master that is aware of removing impediments to increase the velocity of the team. This all requires management buy-in, and without the three core elements of scrum, PO and management buy-in, agile struggles just like any other methodology.
