If you are going through a migration from XP to Windows 7 right now (let's face it; very few corporations migrated from XP to Vista), that is painful enough. No way will companies repeat that pain (or pay for it) so quickly unless the migration path is made so simple as to be a no-brainer (which we all know won't happen).

I just really can't imagine that there would be a compelling value proposition to go from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
