3d is not that bad just over priced
I don't consider 3d that bad when compared to a CRT TV. I don't consider 3D a neccessity, but I have been looking around for a decent HD projector that can handle 3D. I do agree the picture quality is not the best, but it has its highlights. (Have you used the nvidia 3D and glasses for the PC. It's amazing when playing a game!) 3D does not match up to my expectations because I would care more for virtual reality than just having something that pops out of the screen at you. 3D I want to actually feel like I am there, or at least feel like what ever I am watching is right in my living room. It's like the tablet craze though. Everyone wants the "new technology", but then people are disappointed in what they buy because it does not match up to their expectations. Its why I have learned to not impluse buy and research everything I want for a couple months. By then I know exactly what I am looking for, prices may have dropped, and newer faster model will come afterwards.
