Signature based detection seems to be the only way that does with it's supposed to effectively. Unfortunately with inherent inadequacy of signature-based detection, our best bet is an effective real-time behavior analyzer, and I yet to see one.

Your article about Evercookies was very interesting. It just shows how securing our computers, and information, become increasingly more difficult vis-a-vis ingenious new techniques used by cyber-crooks.
