I remember it well. I was using a Mac at a place that rented time on them - back when laser printers were thousands of dollars.
I was finishing up some graphics work for a client, and just getting ready to print when at noon, a message came up and took over the screen and locked it up. I had to reboot without saving and lost an hours editing.
But I think the point was that Apple has made OS X more secure, and some people have been lulled into thinking that anti-virus isn't needed anymore. They are wrong.
