Has anyone used the Mobile Armory app? How well does it work? What benefit do you get out of it? I'm curious.
The mobile armory app is very easy to use, well put together, and makes it a breeze when toggling through it's various menu options. Some benefits of using this app are searching the auction house for good buys, collecting all of your gold from sold auctions, and also creating auctions from ones that have expired, or that you have in your bags. You can speak with guildies, or notify someone that you will not make it to tonights raid. Very handy, and fun to kill time with.
My favorite feature is the 3D modeler in the profile. You can make your character dance and do emotes and stuff as well as have a fully rotatable 3D model of your character.
At about ??2.50 per month (or 25 SEK), I figure I can stretch to giving it a go for a little while. The free 'hobbled' version is fine with it's Armory facility, but subscription gives you guild chat, whispers and the ability to use the AH and mailbox facilities.
I have to say, if you play wow more a little, the ability to log-on remotely, say "Hej" to your guildies, cash-in your successful auctions and easily re-list your expired ones is very cool indeed.
I actually like the fact I can play wow 'less' because of this application, but still access the virtual world remotely from the real one
