I haven't seen anyone quite that blatant, but have seen similar types. I actually quite like these types; they are so transparent and pathetic that it's humourous.

The thing that gets me is, like you say, no-one else seems to notice. I've always hoped that others recognise their act and would rather ignore it than bitch about it, but I'm not convinced that's the case.
