I have a desktop at home that allows me to do heavy duty work. I have a laptop at work that allows me to do heav duty work. I don't even use the laptop away from the office because i can connect remotely to my work pc when I'm waiting to get my car worked on, waiting to see the doctor, while sitting in the parking lot waiting on the wife and child and at the same time. You never know when there is a work emergency and you have to connect to the office. Having an IPAD or a tablet allows gives you the capability to work anyware and longer if needed because of the battery life.
