Apple's Applecare makes it more expensive than Samsung

You listed $1,399 above. Add $299 for the AppleCare Protection Plan (to take it to a 3 year warranty like Samsung) and you get $1,698. That makes the MacBook Air MORE expensive than the Series 9.
