That's just too funny. People thinking a mechanical machine can be upgraded with the help of digital hardware.
They don't seem to realize that what the chip actually does, is even out the performance, removing the potential for a good driver to get 100% out of the machine - in order to prevent poor drivers from going around using only 35% of it while spewing black smoke full of half-combusted fuel ... and transmission parts.
