Report Offensive Message

Most of these I'll never use, but the first (with variations) I certainly will. My question is,
what on earth do I do when I accidentally press some key (whatever it was!) and find
my doc. formatted with paragraph signs and an artificially wide margin [2 inches wide]
that I never wanted, or similar bizarre changes??! The same thing? Just 'Undo'?
