How was the member participation?
It sounds like an interesting concept over all. However, had it been a topic I was interested in, I still probably would have skipped it if I didn't have access during the chat to the material being discussed in advance or at least as it was being presented. It sounds like a book club meeting where only a couple of people have had the opportunity to read the book, and everyone else is basing their comments on what those readers' relayed.

Is it a good sign that you have to push a sick person on stage to do his thing? I think that you have a serious, fundamental problem where your whole company is based on the appearance of 1 person (or not). That's a religion. Come to think of it...

Louisville, KY, was still on Eastern Time. Eastern Time extends well in from the coast.
I need the 'alert me when something significant happens' button, because this is not it. Does anyone care what Apple does? They need SJ because Pandora and Amazon, etc. are already streaming music. And (the rumors are that) iCloud is limited to Apple devices. That's just silly. Apple keeps the industry on it toes, but Apple hardware is far from ubiquitous.
Perhaps you'se seen this newfangled device, called an iPod? Or the iPad, maybe the iPhone?
I agree that at some point they will port the service to other complanies hardware but I dont think they can be knocked for rolling it out within the brand.

Yeah I have some of that gear. Mostly gave it up for Pandora on a Blackberry. It's far from cute, but it is great for the gym. Of course its their prerogative to roll it out in the brand, I just think they should be trying for world domination.
As neither an Apple user or a developer, I don't plan on participating. However, I don't notice any links to the keynote itself. Is it to be carried live on the conference's linked web site?

So, my last Apple product was the iTouch 2nd Generation - no iOS 5 or iCloud for me. I feel like I didn't get called for the Rapture.

I meant, how did the TR interactive session go? Was it considered a success? Will there be more in the future?
So, to give them credit, iCloud will address the PC as well as the Apple hegemony. You just need an iPhone with IOS 5 to drive it.
