The iPad is most certainly a great device. However, I was looking at what Motorola were doing, and I believe that they are on the right track at this stage - see Jason Hiner's post http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/hiner/motorola-atrix-review-the-beginning-of-the-smartphone-as-pc/8101?tag=mantle_skin;content

I'd like a smartphone, that can dock as a PC and a notebook. I would like to see one more innovation and that is it should be able to dock as a pad or tablet.
