Apple doesn't hit home runs any more frequently than the HP crowd. Think laser jet versus laserwriter and HP ran them into the ground.

Getting back to the Newton they have put in their dues and refined a device to the point that folks like Jason write articles entitled "Will X be an iPad killer?" So long as they have that lead I will continue to buy their product. And that goes for any company...
