I've been a crafter all my life & never thought to make anything out of punch cards!
In the local telephone central offices, #1XB & #5XB switching machines were equipped with trouble recorders that utilized IBM technology & cards, so we just called them IBM cards. Everyone would come running when the TR started spitting them out!
