Floppy disk returned
I had a customer; their office was more than an hour???s drive, in rural part of Sydney/Australia. He was given the job of looking after the hardware and software. We had to install a software upgrade one day, instead of wasting time driving for nearly 3 hours, I asked him if he can manage to install the upgrade, all agreed and I mailed him the floppy disk containing the software update. Following day, he rang me telling me he was unable to get the computer to read the disk I've sent. I told him to send the corrupt disk to me and I will have another disk sent to him. Few minutes later, our secretary gave me a fax she received for me from my customer. Yes, it was a fax of the floppy disk. Fax was a high tech gadget those days, so you could send almost anything with it :-)))
