When I read that Attributes may be empty, unquoted, single-quoted or dbl-quoted, that seems to clash directly with xhtml - which requires attributes to be dbl-quoted. Or I could be wrong, but that is my understanding.

I thought that I had read somewhere that inline styles weren't going to be supported in one of the new specs, whether html 5 or an update to xhtml. Am I wrong about that (too)?
