Works both ways
While I admit you clearly stated all individuals have a bias and that yours were included in the review, when I see linux stated at 1% share I immediately begin to see enormous bias (which does help me characterize the piece) as pro-MS propaganda.
Purporting a number as low as 1% makes me not even bother to look for substantiated numbers as I immediately assume you are grouping all devices together - desktop, laptop, phone, GPS, servers, appliances, MyFordTouch, etc. While it is clear MS has total dominance on the desktop, other OSs have significant dominance in server and appliance space. Where the heavy lifting is done and one device processes content for thousands of desktops, the numbers - or "influence" - are not where your numbers suggest.
