Windows 7 has some nice features under the hood and looks nicer. It also has DirectX 11, but there is no TECHNICAL reason, no VAST changes that should render XP obsolete. If XP had been updated, it would be leaner, cleaner, faster and more stable. It was already all of those things, so why the hurry to change?
