TechRepublic Live 2011 will be free to the first 100 registrants

I've been to the first two, and I can promise you that if you are on the fence, it's time to get off the fence... TR Live is a great event because of the people who are there. I know that it's hard to justify the time and expense of the travel to get there, but it's like a mini-vacation + a good event.

Hopefully TR is around for another 50 years, so that when I retire, I can finally attend.

... and this year I should be bringing my wife and kids.

That's a lot of driving. And I would still have to drive back, another 20 hours of driving...

I filled out the registration, but I don't see any confirmation yet.

Same here - I went ahead and made reservations at the hotel, but how can we know if we got in?! I need to make travel plans, but would really like to know if I have a spot...

You guys really need to change the settings on the sign-up so seeing previous responses isn't an option. Right now I can see all the info, including email addresses and phone numbers, of everyone who's registered.

As of August 15, 2011, all of the seats for the TR live event on Sept 28-30 are reserved. We will have a waiting list for folks who would like to attend but haven't yet registered - please send your contact information to trol@techrepublic.com.

If you have already registered (before 8/15/11) but are UNABLE to attend, please send an email to trol@techrepublic.com to let us know so that we can extend that open spot to someone on our waiting list.
