Only if they paid cash
The Big Reseller lines don't pay cash, they buy on credit and recoup later. In this case with HP killing the price those distro Centers negotiate the diffrence on the back end. They may have agreed to pay X dollars on their LOC or 90-120day Accounts payable or whatever they negotiated but if they can't make a deal with HP then they ship the product back and use the credit for products that will sell so they eat Shipping and handling cost but not the entire amount.
