Not a test per se
I have noticed that the types of questions interviewers and reference checkers are asking, deals with the concept of EI and IQ, but not an actual test. The questions get you to talk about how a person handles a situation both in terms of skill and interpersonal relations. They go like "Tell me about a time when a customer got mad at you."
