Where's the Status doc property!?!?!?
Just thought I would share this with everyone....
In Word 2010 I couldn't find the "Status" Doc property when trying to add it to the doc via "Insert -> Quick Parts -> Field" but then discovered that it can only be added via "Insert -> Quick Parts -> Document Property" however the menu option "Document Property" is not available (i.e. greyed out) when the doc is viewed in "compatibility mode" - To avoid compatibility mode save the file without checking the "Maintain Compatibility....." checkbox.
Be aware that there is a Status field in "Advanced Properties - Custom Properties" whcih is not the same as the Status field that you see in the Document Panel. Confusing, yes and looks like a bug to me but that's just my humble opinion
