Dumb comment.
THIS IS BS!!
There are more smaller companies than anything.
???Represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms.
???Employ just over half of all private sector employees.
???Pay 44 percent of total U.S. private payroll.
???Have generated 64 percent of net new jobs over the past 15 years.
???Create more than half of the nonfarm private gross domestic product (GDP).
???Hire 40 percent of high tech workers (such as scientists, engineers, and computer programmers).
???Are 52 percent home-based and 2 percent franchises.
???Made up 97.3 percent of all identified exporters and produced 30.2 percent of the known export value in FY 2007.
???Produce 13 times more patents per employee than large patenting firms; these patents are twice as likely as large firm patents to be among the one percent most cited.
- 84% of Americans are employed by small business.

Don't do away with mega corps. Bad news. They are needed badly as stability and leverage and provide big stuff small companies cannot. Let's see. How about 32 phone companies that won't interconnect? We have hundreds of cell phone companies. The scare and bigger issue was interconnect until the FCC stepped in about 1967 and made all the AT&T types play in the sandbox. Should we disband and break down the switches? Don't even think about billing and charge back if 1000's of little companies trying to switch your call to Florida. I also want a BIG car company that can afford to build a safe car as mandated by gov't. And - NO only an idiot would want to do away with Gov't standards. We would not even be safe in cars, or on the street. Big corporations provide stability and reliability that force smaller competition into reliability and something better. Massive companies ARE NOT HURTING FREEDOM - A DUMB IDEA IF THERE EVER WAS ONE!! Small thinking hurts more.
