And your qualifications are what exactly???
Now having spend many years in the tech industry AND having a valid LTC in Massachusetts (Don't ask what hoops you have to jump through in the Commonwealth) Ms. Bower's article was most curious. Did Ms. Bower do any research on the results of similar policies implemented in other jurisdictions? A little intellectual rigor might be called for here. Do states with liberal LTC laws see any increase in gun related violence? If she did this rather simple research was the result consistent with the author's prejudices? Perhaps she will get back to us... And perhaps not. Her ending comments seemed to imply that lawful gun owners have a greater tendency to perpetrate random acts of violence. Really, and the evidence is... Again, a cursory examination of the record in other jurisdictions where these policies are implemented might be interesting. Ms. Bower, I'm sorry if firearms frighten you. You by no means have to own or use one. I think you have a perfect right to aid and abet your potential victimhood. But just in case you might harbor the happy thought that you are qualified to make that determination for me. Well, let me make this point very clear... you're not. Sorry, keep believing the police will protect you... That's why they carry all that yellow tape with them. Because they always are there to protect you...
