Anyone familiar with the "real" electronics of cars (Engine Control and the like, NOT mp3 players...) knows that the business end of the thing is just "doing something" in response to a condition in a lookup table. So your ECU fails... $1000 buckaroos, anyone? Imagine what they'll ask for these new-fangled brains.
Huge rip-off all the way around.
I will most probably order my cars as I have in the past: with as few options as possible.
My current vehicle doesn't even have cruise control... because I consider it a greater danger to other's safety than a 2000 lb concrete barrier dead ahead.
