Anyone familiar with the "real" electronics of cars (Engine Control and the like, NOT mp3 players...) knows that the business end of the thing is just "doing something" in response to a condition in a lookup table. So your ECU fails... $1000 buckaroos, anyone? Imagine what they'll ask for these new-fangled brains.
