Cell Phones and Linux
Linux currently is used on smart phones, with around a 39% share. Blackberry is still larger, though dropping in share, while Apples iPhone gets all the press, but is holding at 25% share. Windows Phone 7 is currently on about 2% of smart phones. But, since smartphones only account for around 25% of phones, that means that LInux phone share is around 10%, with Blackberry at around 11% and iPhone at about 7.5%. Windows is there at 0.5% (+ or -), but the biggest is still Symbian. come back in a year, and Linux might just be the biggest in use with smart phones.
