Android, and on...
My toughest decision in buying my tablet was which Android to get (iPad was not even in the equation for me). I wound up getting the Galaxy 10.1 - very nice display, and the sound was better than the other tablets IMO. So, some of the apps could be a little clunky sometimes, but overall it's a wonderful tool! Not to mention, I'm an avid Google product user so integrating my email accounts was seemless - made for each other. I am also an Ubuntu Linux user so all these things go hand-in-hand for me. Open source baby! Which leads to my next point - for those that are wondering about APPs or the lack there of, check out App Inventor Beta from Google Labs (http://www.appinventorbeta.com/learn/). I just built two simple apps while using my Galaxy as an emulator. Fun stuff! Going back to the 'clunky' adjective I wrote before, things are constantly developing so a lot of these problems will go away eventually - the open source community is one of the most supportive around!
