Who really knows ? Let face it IT is still really in it's infancy

Everybody goes mad about the Cloud but all it really is is just another place to store your data and the only benefit is cost !! nothing else just cost. OK one good thing is to improve your disaster recovery by backing data up off-site I agree but besides that there is no benefit than having your own server room and a good internet connection and then there's the added worry of hacking, How many so-called secure sites get hacked on a daily basis and you want me to put my data where ?????

Maybe personal clouds are the way to go, your own pocket cloud that you can moniter and maintain yourself, oh wait a second we have already got them it's called your network !!!

Consultants and Out-source don't make me laugh at the end of the day they are only in business to make money they dont do it for company pride, I have worked on both sides and the problem with out-sourcing is you do the minimium work for the maximium profit where as internal IT staff tend to have pride in the system they are supporting and will go the extra mile and when the S***T hits the fan it's amazing it's never the out-source guys fault ever !!!
