A technical staff can also be happy, if you do your management right. It is easier to train a tech staff to be an effective communicator than the other way round. Communication is a skill that most people learn when they are growing up. How do you think they asked their parents when they want things? If they did not do it right, they correct them. It does not take more than a quarter of at school to train a person to be a better communicator. It can take for ever to train a person to be a high tech person, unless you love the profession.
