IT skillset bull
Managing IT teams for a number of years now, and being on both sides of the table (hiring and bring hired), I found the biggest bull or frustration is that you can qualify a hire for their specific technical skills, but if the individual lacks culture integration or personal skills if having to deal with internal end-users (aka customers), then regardless of what certification or IT skills is on their CV, they're just not a fit. Conflict resolution, client-side services, understanding business needs....all plays into the ideal IT hire I look for...beyond the IT skill sets.
