So? It's a bunch of dancers accompanied by some obnoxious noise that repeats what I've typed in. How does this silly little exhibition make (it a better world?) (me a better person?) (make my office more productive?). What is the practical everyday use or is another "solution in seach of a problem?"
There are all sorts of HTML5 demos and Chrome Experiments available. They are for demonstration and proof of concept.
Exhibitions never made anything better. Except by demonstrating things that people who know how to use the tech can turn into something for a particular purpose.
At the 1893 World Fair, would you have said, "lightbulbs, what the heck are they good for?" Looking at this image,

go ahead and pick out what you think is doing you any good today.

I seem to remember this same article (at least the same video links) about 6 months ago. Surely there is something "new" with HTML5 to report rather than repeating content....
HTML5 in browsers like Chrome, Firefox and others has the potential to really expand the options for mobile computing and remote access to enterprise applications. For example, Ericom AccessNow is a pure HTML5 RDP client that enables remote users to connect to any RDP host, including Terminal Server (RDS Session Host), physical desktops or VDI virtual desktops ??? and run their applications and desktops in a browser. AccessNow works natively with Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer (with Chrome Frame plug-in), Firefox and any other browser with HTML5 and WebSockets support.
Concerned about security? Ericom AccessNow also provides an optional Secure Gateway component. This Gateway enables external clients to securely connect to internal resources using AccessNow without requiring a VPN.
