There are no heroes or villains, only pioneers.
They do what they have to do, omelets get made, and yes, eggs get broken.
Those who trail behind can only look at the backs of the giants striding ahead, thinking - what a force of nature.

Staying human, though, is the hardest achievement. I think Steve pulled that one off exceedingly well. The fact that we know him as much by his first name as by his last name points to that. As all men, he died a human, and his loss to his family is as all such losses are. Grief cannot be measured nor compared - my heart goes out to them.
