That's what the CIO is going to ask when someone proposes replacing the OS and apps on user systems. Don't think there are no investment charges just because Linux is available at no cost.

Linux hasn't made a dent on the workplace desktop yet, and I see no signs it will do so in the next several years. It's not going to be there to influence what users run at home.
