Perhaps Jack can say "The possibility of Windows viruses infecting Linux systems is very very small". And explain that Rootkits still pose a minimal threat to Linux systems and that users should be using rkhunter, chrootkit or other antiviruses on a regular basis. Education is the best defence for security problems and virus threats.
