If you don't love information technologies, you should be doing something else. Figure out what you would love to do, then start working on getting qualified to work in that field. Don't be afraid to take a pay cut when you make the transition (unless you're in debt to a murderous loan shark, I suppose).

People are better at their jobs when those jobs match their passions.
