If the lowest score is 1 [answer a] and there are 5 questions, you have 1 x 5 = 5 points minimum. That means, you cannot be any better than "a real idiot", just worse.
Yeah, you only see what you want to, 1 x 5 5, it's actually 1, only when you become part of the synergy can one score better than the minimum required in this case. Anyway who cares about whether it adds up...
If I was working in a company I would love to have A Complete Idiot boss. At least, my stomach will not complain about missed dinner and lunch. : )

If you're making the boss look good, why on earth would (s)he give you a promotion? You have to make HIM/HER look so good that (s)he gets promoted out of your way.

Having a boss as an idiot is more common than we identify.the boss is the representative of the company,he is the one who plays politics to forward his career,he is the one who plays doom with the department or company.If he is an idiot he gets rid of talent who threatens him,he is the one who recruits staff who don't threaten him,he is the one who gets told to cut the department because the department is not producing anything due to poor management,He is the one who gets a larger severence package when the the company closes,and he is the one who gets promoted to the level of his incompetance.

The boss you describe is not an idiot. He is probably the smartest one there.
He always comes out with a promotion, a bonus, no blame, gets to fire other people, gets the bigger severence package, doesn't have to look for a better job opportunity, and gets credit for the great things his staff did.

I'd always heard this as "promoted to a level where his incompetence is no longer dangerous."

I'm sorry, but anyone who orders that much pizza is NOT a 'Complete Idiot'; he's a manager I'd work unpaid overtime for, even if I am paying for the pizza one time out of five.
Maybe I'll never be management material, but C seems like the best choice on all those questions to me.
I had a boss who would go through our take-out lunches (they would be delivered to the canteen and he'd arrive before the lunch break) and help himself to extras out of everyone elses portions (which we paid for ourselves). We thought we had him beaten by ordering an extra-large pizza to share between the lot of us. Only to find that he'd got down early and moved nearly all of the toppings onto his slices.
Just have someone bake an extra special chocolate pie (The Help kind) and have the take out place deliver it. Then everyone can watch the boss eat *it!
Or else go extra early and sprinkle concentrated capsaicin on the pizza and order another one for later. Maybe he'll slow up on eating up other people's food.

If you don't get the joke just close your browser, go back to your miserable life, probably making other people around you miserable as well, and walk away! Perfect example, the new Ben and Jerry's ice cream, Schweddy Balls. I read an article the other day about a conservative group called "one million moms" who are upset over the name and telling everyone to boycott Ben and Jerry's. Big surprise, another conservative group upset over something so trivial and forgetting that it was supposed to be a joke. Their are so many other serious problems to deal with as a parent and they focus on something like that.
