Get yourself a Macbook Air. It has pretty much all of the claimed benefits of a tablet with none of the limitations. Long battery life, light weight, real keyboard, business apps (including Office for Mac), ability to run Windows apps if required (using Fusion or Parallels), Flash support (so all Flash-based web sites are viewable), full gesture control from the large trackpad (no fingerprints all over the screen), expansion ports. Don't get me wrong, the tablet certainly fills a niche in the market, but every business colleague I know who has a tablet (iPad) wishes they'd bought, or been provided with, a Macbook Air after playing with mine. Yes, it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
