BTW- when a keyboard has no keys is it still a keyboard?- lets borrow your earlier logic - when a tablet evolves to have a keyboard it will cease to be a tablet- I suppose if a tablet was equipped with a projection keyboard you would call it a laptop. Anyway in a few years it will be mostly tablets for mobile users and we will see which way the tablet keyboard evolves- your bet is: that tablets will become laptops because the almighty keyboard is much beloved by everybody and utterly irreplaceable. my bet is current technological trends will continue to evolve including simulated keyboards and speech to text software and all-round better user interfaces. now get some perspective and think of the overall impact on users other than yourself- if you do you will logically deduct that the keyboard is a very bad interface indeed.
